About Us

Our Vision: New Ways of Exchange

We are convinced that alternative exchange and settlement systems hold the greatest potential for enabling a free and self-determined life. For us, they are the most effective lever to initiate positive social developments and fundamentally redesign how we live together.

Money is not an unchangeable fact; it is a social agreement. We want to actively help shape these tools to promote cooperation, prosperity, and genuine resilience through diversity.

Our Central Goals

Our work is primarily divided into three key areas:

💡

1. Education & Awareness

We promote the understanding of monetary and exchange systems. Through events, workshops, and seminars, we demonstrate that money is malleable. We create awareness for the opportunities provided by currency diversity as a vital complement to existing systems.
🛠️

2. Advocacy & Development

We actively support the development of new means of payment and software platforms. Our focus lies on open-source solutions that empower people to build and network their own exchange systems decentrally and independently.
🫂

3. Motivation & Practice

We bridge the gap between theory and practice. We support communities in introducing alternative means of payment, promote regional economic cycles, and encourage individuals to manage their economic relationships with sovereignty and responsibility.

Transparency & Structure

Trust is the foundation of our work. Here you can learn how we are organized and the values that guide us.

Our Principles

  • Non-profit: We do not work for profit. All revenue goes directly toward promoting our projects and ensuring fair compensation for work.
  • Transparency: Our statutes, minutes, and financial reports are accessible to all members.
  • Independence: We are not affiliated with any political or religious organization.

Organizational FAQ

What is the legal form of the association?Currently, we are an unincorporated association (nicht eingetragener Verein). This grants us the necessary flexibility during our initial phase. Once it serves our growth, we aim for formal registration (e.V.). However, our statutes are fully binding even now.
Where can I find your statutes and documents? All core documents (statutes, contribution regulations, etc.) can be found on our Membership page in the download section.
